Dr. Aharon Biran joined Ex Libris Group as chief financial officer in 1999, following six years of providing consultancy services to Ex Libris and several other high-tech companies.

Before becoming a consultant, Dr. Biran held the position of vice president of finance and administration at Luz International, Ltd., and, prior to that role, served as chief financial officer at Elscint Ltd., a publicly-traded medical instrumentation company.

Dr. Biran earned a BS and MS in physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a DSc degree in physics from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
